Pfizer and D&D Pharmatech sign $1.24 million research deal to advance oral dual agonist using ORALINK platform –
Partnership represents over 40% of D&D’s annual sales and leverages ORALINK to address major barriers in oral GLP‑1 delivery
South Korea-based D&D Pharmatech signed a $1.2 million research services agreement with Pfizer yesterday to advance an oral peptide dual agonist for obesity treatment. The partnership will be built on D&D’s proprietary ORALINK oral peptide technology platform. The seven-and-a-half-month contract runs from April 14, 2026, to November 30, 2026, though D&D notes the actual duration will extend until all milestone‑based payments are completed. Payments will be made within 90 days of each completed research service item, and D&D will conduct manufacturing and supply in‑house. Notably, the public KOSDAQ disclosure filing states that the deal represents over 40% of D&D’s most recent annual sales.
